A Classic Tour Stage and Whooooaaaarrrr!

What a day! A Classic mountain stage for the Tour and it’s been a while since we’ve seen a day like this in a Tour. Froome whilst not my hero of the day, rode an incredible race, being so isolated and pitted against Team Movistar. He is one cool customer (maybe he really is an alien?) and Movistar didn’t even come close to cracking him. It might seem a given that Froome will win, but if the attacks continue like today it’s going to be amazing to watch the next two weeks. Movistar and Valverde should’ve destroyed it to be honest. Respect is due to Chris. But Dan Martin! Such an heroic effort that worked, not an easy stage to win, and to end up beating a strong rider such as Fuglsang. Crossing the line and shouting WHOOOOAAAARRR! Priceless.
