Aero beard or no aero beard?

I think a few people were wondering if Sir Wiggo of Beardshire was losing vital seconds with that beard of his in the TT at ToC. I was one of those and took the opinion that it would make a small difference and according to Specialized the difference is almost negligible over 40kms. But then when it can come down to split seconds of difference at the sharp end of a TT stage it might matter. One can presume Wiggo was using the ToC as a warm-up race that would see him gain confidence against a field he could potentially handle the beard didn’t matter too much. If he is at the tour I doubt the beard will stay. Anyone fancy a beard bet?
