Bespoked Bristol 2013

It’s that time of year again. Dream up your ideal bike, raid your piggy bank, head to Bespoked Bristol and see what’s going on in the world of artisan frame builders and ask if they will build it for you. Ok, you might not have that kind of money in a piggy bank but at least we can gorge ourselves on beautifully carved lugs, hand polished steel and paintwork so good you’ll find 5 minutes has passed and your still staring.

We’ve been to the show the last two years. If you missed it then here’s a recap for 2011 and the feature from 2012. This year i think we will see a lot of polished stainless steel and a number of frames built with Reynolds 953 which has been easily available since the last show. Expect a few all terrain style bikes that accommodate fatter tyres, maybe with disc brakes too and a few porteurs, well i hope so anyway. I could be totally wrong but either way it’s going to be a great show.

This year there’s a live frame bike build with many guest frame builders involved. It’s a single speed built with Reynolds 725 and a Columbus carbon fork. Full build spec is on this page. The bike will be raffled off so make sure you buy a ticket!  Tickets are £5 and the money raised will go to The Bristol Bicycle Project and World Bicycle Relief.

We will be there on Friday and Saturday so if you see us say hello. We’ll put some of our stickers and In Case of Emergency cards around the entrance so grab them if you see them!

Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using?
I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most
blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for getting
off-topic but I had to ask!

Hi there, we use wordpress, we don’t use a theme it’s all custom built by us. This way you get something unique that doesn’t look like anything else. We are are team of designers and web developers beside commenting on cycling, I hope that answers your question. Cheers.
