Bristol Classico

A group of friends asked me to design a kit for their 2013 bicycle adventures. The group of riders are based in Bristol and asked for something like the Chianti Classico kit. I took that a with a tongue in cheek approach to produce a nod at a very iconic jersey (bibs, wind jacket, cap and gloves!) and pay homage to Bristol. I’m pleased with the results, so are my buddies, they left me a note with my kit, something about farting in the cap and other affectionate messages I can’t repeat – thanks. If you see them on the roads this year give them a nod. If you see me wearing it, don’t laugh I’m trying to lose weight.

  • Off for a long slow ride tomorrow. Will be going through some tunnels and need a light, decisions! Can't beat the little volt 300 on the right. The 1200 is brighter than a light house.
