Bunyan Velo European Tour

Our friend Lucas over at Bunyan Velo is going on a massive European Tour this June. Bunyan Velo is a lovely Journal dedicated to the adventures one can have on a bicycle. Lucas is certainly living up to this. Here is what he is doing and he needs some friendly faces along the way; “I’ll be spending this June (2013) touring across Scotland, England, the Netherlands, and Belgium. I’d love to meet riders/readers along the way. Below is a rough sketch of my loosely-planned route: June 1, 2013: Arrive in Glasgow, Scotland > Train up to John o’Groats > Ride to and climb Ben Nevis > Ride to Bristol > Ride to Land’s End > Ride to London > Ride to Felixstowe > Ferry to the Netherlands > Ride south around the Netherlands and Belgium > July 2, 2013: Depart Brussels, Belgium. Please get in touch if you have suggestions for routes/places to see, want to get a beer, or have a backyard I can camp in!” Big adventure! If you can help him, contact him here. (original post). Thanks.

  • Proper path riding
  • Waiting to go. Hoping the postman brings new bolts for the front mudguard tomorrow.
  • Do I? A few duff parts though for the money compared to competitors. @iamspecialized #tarmac2015 #tarmac #specialized
  • Some @thewonderfulsocks came in the post today. #sockgame is getting stronger at Headset Press
  • The day started off great, a mechanical means I'm getting the bus home.
  • There's a tunnel up ahead, can't believe a train used to run through here. Been past it loads and not noticed this huge tunnel
  • Adam at @cycleexif with his Swinnerton shortly after finishing the ride @eroica.cc @eroicabritannia #eroica #eroicabritannia
  • Off for a long slow ride tomorrow. Will be going through some tunnels and need a light, decisions! Can't beat the little volt 300 on the right. The 1200 is brighter than a light house.
  • Climbing at Eroica. What a ride @eroica.cc @eroicabritannia #eroica #eroicabritannia
