Co-founded by Danielle Welton and Tan Doan, the newly launched Casquette is a female specific cycling magazine that celebrates all that is fun and rewarding about riding a bike.

Focusing on a wide range of bike culture themes, you can pick up a free copy of Casquette from the network of London based stockists listed on the magazine’s web site or have one sent straight to your door for the price of post and packaging.

The launch issue has a choice of covers featuring either Emily Chappell or Nicole Cooke with extended features on these cycling icons alongside articles on cycle style, nutrition and gear. Aiming to inspire women to get out and ride, editor-in-chief Welton describes the motivation that set her and Doan on the path to launching this new publication.

‘The magazine started out as a what-if conversation over coffee, a sketch on the back of a napkin and the desire to create a beautiful cycling magazine. As I chatted to more and more inspirational women in cycling, the thing that really brought Casquette to life was an attitude that seemed to unite us all. Make stuff happen. #JFDI. So that’s the theme of our first issue.’
