Stiff, light and aero. The Rca is the newest iteration of Cervélo’s top line frame technology having evolved from the R5ca. It now weighs in at a superlight 667g for a 54cm frame. The down tube has been shaped so it’s more aerodynamic and less boxy compared to a normal R series frame. That helps to create 7.4 watts less drag than the regular R series frames.
I love the minimal graphics on this model, especially the bear on the top tube. I wish the more affordable R3 was available with this styling. Full details on the Project California site and a bit more here. Sadly only 325 will be created and for a whopping $10,000. Trailer below.
