Chapeau products for The Discerning Cyclist

Introducing Chapeau! – a cycling brand with a philosophy of understated classic styling and a fair price for a quality product. Sounds good. We were lucky enough to see some of the Chapeau! clothing at Bespoked Bristol and were especially intrigued with their bib shorts.

The Pave Bib shorts come with a choice of either a Green Carbonium pad for a rider who sits in a slightly more upright position or a Red Carbonium pad for riders who are comfortable riding in a race position. That’s a pretty neat idea and they sell for £119.99.

It’s not just high end gear. Their £59.99 Classic Black bib shorts are an entry level version designed for short to medium rides. That’s a good price and from what we’ve seen the quality looks good.

An item that was getting rather a lot of attention on their stand was the £149.99 Rain Jacket with an asymmetric front zip, waterproof and breathable stretch fabric. It’s very light too. The range is pretty large and includes some smartly striped jerseys, base layers, shorts and versions of items for women. I’ve not even mentioned their skincare range and luggage and the People’s Cycling Club.

Be sure to head over to their site and take a look. Here’s the clothing launch video:
