Meet the Zondag and Donder from Engineered Bicycles, created for cyclocross and criterium racing respectively they are designed in the UK and built in Italy.
The Zondag is designed for those who want to win races, stiff, precise, stable and responsive were the aims behind designing the frame along with being able to survive a season. Built from custom Dedacciai aluminium tubing the Zondag has a tapered headtube, carbon fork, BB30 bottom bracket and disc brakes.
Lively and aggressive is how the Donder is described which is a good thing as it’s made to for competing in criteriums and short road races. Also built from aluminium but using a slightly different tubeset of custom Dedacciai scandium-aluminium the Donder comes with a press fit BB86 bottom bracket and tapered headtube and carbon fork.
Each bike is built for the it’s rider and there are lots of customisations that you can do such as cantilever brakes instead of discs. The smooth welds are very nice, be sure to take a look at the graphics on the seat tube. Visit Engineered Bicycles for full spec and prices, photos of both bikes below.
