Field Cycles created the Sheffield Steel Peloton to celebrate their part in the Yorkshire Festival 100 days of Culture leading upto the Tour de France Grand Depart in Yorkshire. First off there are no stickers on this frame, that’s all masked paintwork.
The fillet brazed frame uses tubing from three different manufacturers, a Reynolds 853 front triangle, Columbus Life chainstays and seatstays are S-bend Dedaccia tubes which have been further shaped. The fork is a tapered Whiskey Parts Co and the custom paintwork is different on each side. There’s an amazing headbadge that has been 3D printed in stainless steel with the Yorkshire White Rose. Here’s a taster, for the full gallery visit Field Cycles.
