GB Cyclists and the National Lottery

I’ve never really put much thought into what happens with the money spent on a lottery ticket. I know money is given to charity and to help good causes throughout the country, but i’ve never thought that we’d have no GB sports people on an international competitive level without the help given from the Lottery. I have no idea what was around before or how other money is put into sport but i’m glad that spending a small amount of money can help so many people and give athletes such a great opportunity. It’s also awesome that you have a chance to win enough money to buy a shed filled with your dream bikes! I hope funding like this continues. We don’t need more TV personalities or people with an x factor, we need inspiring sports men and women that have the chance to give everything they’ve got. Might have to get myself a ticket after that, just need enough for a VW California and a few bikes!
