He ain’t heavy he’s my brother in yellow

What a thing, what a plan. I didn’t realise until today that Gerran’s planned to give his team mate the Yellow Jersey. Daryl Impey is now the first ever South African to wear the coveted maillot jaune and what a year to wear it – the 100th edition. I told you Gerrans was a top bloke. Todays stage was one of those in between stages, not flat but not mountainous. This really worked for Sagan who has now stolen a huge lead in the sprint classification that it might already be a done deal. Still this is the Tour so we will have to wait… Tomorrow is the first day for the shit to hit the fan and I think we will see some muscle flexing going on with the GC riders. Can’t wait. Neither could our Jamie and he will be there on the roadside snapping some great pics which we will feature on the site later!
