H&M for Brick Lane Bikes

Brick Lane Bikes is synonymous with the fixed gear scene in London. Their shop is a treassure trove of vintage and new components that you can waste plenty of time gorping at. H&M got together with BLB last year to produce a cycling collection for the Spring. It’s available next week from the 7th instore and online.

The bright orange water repellant jacket is really interesting. Costing 79,95  EUR it’s made from breathable material, cut longer at the back and features ventilation holes under the sleeves. There are two straps sewn inside so that it can be folded and worn as a backpack which is a pretty neat idea, I can’t wait to see that inaction. Other items from the collection are the vintage influenced rider tee which costs 39,95 EUR and the cycling cap which costs 9,95  EUR.

There are also chinos and shorts cut specifically for riding, shirts, crewnecks and even a blazer. All items in the collection are made from sustainable materials including organic cotton, recycled polyester and recycled wool.

Here’s a short film about the collection:

To go with the launch of the clothing BLB have created a limited edition lo-pro track bike which if you’re feeling lucky you might be able to win in their competition. Failing that there are a number for sale too. Full info on Brick Lane Bikes.
