howies want everyone to take part in a microadventure on the 21st June, the summer solstice and have a stash of prizes to give away for those who do from Trek Bikes, howies, Osprey Packs and Mountain Equipment. The concept is simple, leave work with your gear and a mate or two, head for the countryside by bike, on foot, by train or canoe. Bivvy out under the stars then return the next morning. If you’ve never slept out under the stars in a bivvy bag i highly recommend it, you won’t stop telling people about it for a long time and you will probably end up doing it a lot.

To take part go to the howies Facebook page. Here’s some words to get you prepped and a film of the howies team on a microadventure.

Adventure is only a state of mind.
Adventure is stretching yourself; mentally, physically or culturally. It is about doing what you do not normally do, pushing yourself hard and doing it to the best of your ability.
