The Jonny Hines and Gareth Winter photography exhibition includes photos of Bradley Wiggins and stunning mountain climbs. This will be a super exhibition to go see. See below but, some very interesting pictures and technical talent. Along with some very fine visual compositions make it compelling viewing the observer.
When: December 1st 1800 – 2200 (running until mid-jan)
Where: Robin Partington & Partners, Castlewood, 77-91 New Oxford St. London, WC1A 1DG
Portraits by Gareth Winter captures intimate moments of professional cyclists that portray the beauty and romance of cycling, inspired by the rich history of the sport and heroes of the past. Shooting exclusively on 120mm film with a Yashica Mat medium format camera provides an ephemeral quality and style, not just in the outcome and aesthetic but also in the process. The exhibition includes photographs of Sir Bradley Wiggins, Chris Froome, riders from Team WIGGINS and Team Sky, Canyon//SRAM and more.
/kl??m/ by Jonny Hines follows Walter Beckers & Kendal Noctor in their bid to climb 60,000m in ten days by bike, conversing some of Europes toughest climbs. Jonny uses the harsh mountainous landscapes as a backdrop for scale and magnitude whilst his series of intimate candid shots allow the viewer to unwrap their own hidden stories of the suffering on the bike.
