I’ve been seeing some nice commuting bikes around lately and with snow on the ground you need something that will let you take on all conditions with some fatter rubber. I think the Kinesis Tripster is one of those bikes that is just a perfect all rounder, comfy riding position, carbon fork for a smooth ride, an aluminium frame and a decent pair of disc brakes. Obviously a commuting bike is useless unless you can take your packed lunch in a pannier but the Tripster has the mounts and a clever dropout design to allow them to be mounted easily. Takes mudguards too of course. Available built up with Shimano 105/FSA components for £1389.99 it seems competitively priced too. Wonder if it can be used for camping trips?
