mario cipollini the lion king

Cavendish has a long way to go until he can match the awesomeness of the lion king. Cipollini was nuts, pulling pranks all the way to Paris. Once he put grapefruits up his jersey to look like a lady!! Crazy. What a sprinter though (42 wins in the Giro).

The skin skin-suit was another awesome stunt. Most of all it was his amazing hair, I will admit Cav is trying with the hair, oh and the massive ego. Everyone used to complain about Cipo’s ego and they do the same with Cav.

Here is the thing… your going to need a huge ego to be at the front, push ahead when things are tough, it takes that kind of attitude. Boxers are the same and sprinting for the stage win and sprint points along the way takes that same fighting attitude. If the Tour was an opera, Cav would have a leading role, despite the fact, you may or may not like the character. Basically he is playing his part in the opera that is the Tour.

Still wonder if Cipo is tougher than Chuck Norris…
