May the strongest bull win

Ok my metaphor is a bit cheesy but, I would rather say that than matador… Either way I’m looking forward to watching the Vuelta this year. I have no idea which riders have the GC capability (Valverde?), but there will be plenty aiming for the top position and this will hopefully make it a lively race. The Spanish riders will have the home edge to drive them on and when they hit the mountains I fully expect the Euskaltel team to smash it. It will also be the last time we will see the now iconic orange kit of Euskaltel as they will fold at the end of the season. Sad times but this is always happening in the world of pro-cycling and I hope all the riders find new contracts for next year. The Vuelta gets off to a flying start today, with a TTT. Good way to kick off.
