Poor mans chain cleaner

I saw this floating around last week and the image has been on my desktop for a while and the more I look at it, the more inspired I think it is. I don’t know who thought of it, or who I can credit, just one of those legendary shared images. I’ve managed to collect two old toothbrushes and will be putting this idea into practice and see what the outcome is. What I really like is that DIY solution to a real problem of cleaning a dirty chain. Anyone else tried this?

never thought about this DIY, I might prefer this than my park tool chain cleaner. what degreaser do you use with?

Not sure on the degreaser, going to try just soapy water and see how well that goes, other thought was spraying a degreaser on the brushes… have fun trying yours.
