Prestige Cycles. Print isn’t dead.

Coming from a print background I just love to see work like this. I don’t know who designed this wonderful newsletter but Generation Press took care of the print. They also print for Rapha, V&A and many other exceptional clients – so Prestige Cycles went to the right place! In a world of digital I think doing some quality print can really boost the appeal of your brand. And yes we want to print stuff ourselves, so far we have entirely funded this project ourselves, but things will change and we hope to bring you more print based work. Print is alive, alive I tell you!

    Print is alive? You’re telling me! Never been so busy. I’m a production manager by trade but this week I’m covering for our studio guy. 132 x B2 plates today, countless digital proofs, imposed cutters, foiling guides, not to mention disassembling then reconstructing a customer’s PDF because they didn’t know how (i.e., couldn’t be arsed) to add bleed.

    Used to get Rapha publications in the post but unlike you was never that impressed. They were usually on uncoated stocks without any obvious adjustments to the originals or the screen ruling to prevent the images filling in.

    Don’t know who prints The Ride Journal but thats the way to do it.

    Look forward to seeing your efforts in the future.
