Pubbliconf Il Cappellino

Whilst searching for some design inspiration, I cam across Pubbliconf from Italy (I think). They made caps and musettes in the 80’s. I searched high and low for more info. All I found was two references from Japan. The first here and the second here. The second is an ace blast from the past, check out the Castelli gear too! If anyone knows more please tell.

I have a Pubbliconf musette I picked up along the Foothills Highway north of Boulder in the late 70s or 80s. It is marked “Nitz,” which I recall refers to Leonard Nitz. Although he seems to have been a track guy, I do dimly recall him racing locally, possibly as part of the Red Zinger Classic. Until now, I’ve never had a clue what “Pubbliconf” means.
