Richard Mitchelson’s Grand Tour, a cyclist’s chain-driven interactive artistic adventure could be worth buying just for the one off doodle he will do in the front of each book if you buy direct from the shop at Rich Mitch.
So what is it? His plan was to try and take the idea of producing a colouring book a bit further and add in elements of design, dot to dot, creative writing, and silliness. Something Rich has achieved with a massive dollop of his unique illustrative style and by the looks of it he’s a a lot of fun.
At 144 pages long and created in about 4 months it has been created with the feeling that Rich had popped over, drawn in a sketch book quickly, and then cleared off and left it behind. Created using a sharpie it gives the feeling that it’s not too perfect and you can get involved and colour and draw in it yourself. It’s supposed to be filled with doodles, scribbles, daubs, pencil marks and cut out bits of sticky back plastic.
Rich Mitch is pretty well known for his illustrated portraits of pro riders. Now added are:
Wiggo 2000-2016, celebrating his career showing highlights like his first world championship in 2003, Olympic medals and Tour De France victory,
Track cyclist Chris Hoy, eleven-times a world champion and six-times an Olympic champion. With a total of seven Olympic medals, six gold and one silver, Hoy is the second most decorated Olympic cyclist of all time. Was great watching him ride on the track, here is Sir Chris 2012.

Fabian Cancellara, nicknamed Spartacus is an absolute powerhouse. A great moment in the Tour of Flanders 2013 was when Cancellara attacked and dropped Peter Sagan on the Paterberg then rode off to take the win.
