Rivendell Bike Book & Hatchet

Rivendell have opened up a bike shop in Walnut Creak California. I saw a Rivendell touring build a number of years ago and have been a fan ever since. This shop is a little different. You won’t find lots of bike components, head cameras or bib shorts. This shop has their bikes, some books and some hatchets! Yep, axes. It’s a mix of outdoors and cycling that i love. I can see two of my favourite outdoor things in the shop, a Stanley flask and a Trangia. If one of those axes is made by Gransfors Bruk then i’ll have to go and visit.  The bikes are looking great too. I’d love to see more bikes shops like this. Visit Rivendell’s site for more details.
