Made in England Roberts Cycles

Following on from the Dave Yates chapter preview from the Made in England book, Push Projects have sent us some lovely photos of Roberts Cycles who will also be featuring in the book.

A bit of history from the Roberts Cycles site:

The Roberts family has been building top-quality made-to-measure bicycles and frames for more than 50 years. Charlie Roberts started working as a frame-builder after WWII for some of the great names in British bicycles – Holdsworth, Claud Butler and Freddie Grubb. Among many outstanding achievements, his track frames were particularly highly regarded by the cognoscenti – professionals and Olympians alike.

Chas who now runs the business today worked for several years as a hard working apprentice before he was allowed to start building frames with the Roberts name.

You can pre-order Made in England here.
