We first met Jake Rusby at Bespoked Bristol 2013 where we were impressed by the brace of bikes he had on show. We thought he was one to watch then and his bikes just keep getting better and better.
Dhiren’s custom fixed gear bike is the latest build from Rusby Cycles and there are some lovely details. Take a look at the D on the rear of the seat tube above the bottom bracket, polished rear bridge and the integrated stem and handlebar combo which Jake built too. The fillet brazed frame is created from Reynolds 853 and has polished Columbus Xcr chainstays. The geometry is setup like a road bike and it’s intended use is training and commuting. There’s a Columbus Minimal fork and a dash of Campagnolo Record parts, including a vintage Record aero seatpost. Finished off with pink highlights and some very nice stripes on that seat post, Dhiren must be very happy. Take a look at Rusby Cycles for more of Jake’s craftsmanship.
