Saw this via Artcrank’s facebook page, which in turn came from CoExist and links to Streetmix. Got that? Yea? Good. It’s relevant to your interests too, that is why I thought I would post it. Ok rationale over. First off it’s a great piece of design. It also makes light of the real conundrum of urban planning and fitting in all the needs of a population. Something inevitably needs to give for the last 100 years the car has been the last to be excluded, I like to think this is changing. More so in cramped urban environments. More room for low emission mass transit and bicycles would, in my mind, create better use of the space and in turn improve people’s lives. Have a play it’s intriguing and you can see how much space things need. Go here to play.
