Team Sky Chooses Rapha

E-by-gum, as they say in northern England, Team Sky and Rapha! Bradley and Chris will be wearing some nice duds next year. I think this is a great move by Rapha [and Team Sky] and I can’t wait to see how they interoperate what the Team Sky jersey should be, in terms of function and design [features]. An interesting factor will be that, this gear will actually be available to us mere mortals, whereas most ‘real’ team kit is not. All of that may not matter, but it’s nice all the same. I for one don’t wear team replica kit and won’t be starting, if however Rapha use the R&D to produce Pro-Tour level kit, then that would be really exciting and it might tempt me to wear some for it’s performance (if only I could justify that level of kit!). More info over at Rapha.

“available to us mere mortals” … not at Rapha prices it won’t be!

Yea, I guess pricing won’t be favourable, but I’m thinking this is the next level for Rapha and should be cheaper?! Maybe… Team replica jerseys are not too cheap either though.
