Tern at the Taipei Cycle Show

I met the good folks at Tern whilst trying to make philosophical sense of the Taipei bike show (feature to come). They showed me the range of bikes and some of the Biologic gadgets, which is the accessory company for Tern bicycles (and any other bike too).

What really stood out for me was the Verge duo, which I took for a quick spin and really liked it’s no fuss approach. It’s where I see folding bikes. But, saying that, some of the other Tern bikes are fantastic too. Not just the top end stuff either.

One thing that really made me smile, was the neat derailleur, with it’s backwards parallelogram [love that word] which enables for a very short cage, to deal with the clearance on small wheels. That for me is real problem solving and something Tern should be very proud of. Well that’s me humble opinion anyway.

The Biologic range is huge and far too big to mention everything on offer, if you want to see more go here. But, for those that know, there is now a biologic case insert to fit different Android phones, these are new and looking good for those of you with smart phones other than the iPhone, you can now keep it safe and useable on your bike.
