The Armstrong Lie Official Trailer 1

So… Spotted over on 5th Floor… This is maybe where we start to hear the whole truth. It could be uncomfortable for a lot of people. I really hope the ‘new’ UCI holds out an olive branch to the fallen Lance, whilst his cheating can’t be condoned we do need to resolve this. Simply trying to write him out of history is senseless. He won the Tour de France seven times in a field that had a lot of dopers, the often runner up to Lance has admitted he cheated too. It’s all so hypocritical and needs a healing and redemption period to sort this out. So many people – fans and journalists – are outraged but for what? If nearly everyone was using some form of banned substances what then? I’ve always seen pro-racing and the Grand Tours as an opera and these parts are played the hero who turned out to be the villain, the remorse and so on… The future could be bright if we sort out the past, lay it bare and accept (which always comes after the anger when facing loss).
