The most stylish Grand Tour

Of all the Grand Tours the Giro D’ Italia is the coolest. The Italian style is without doubt, the baby pink colour that represents Italy’s response to Frances prestigious yellow paper is just the right hue. The coffee, food, and that well known style just compliments this race but, it’s the long gone stars of Italy that we think of most, which Pantani is the most remembered today. It is ten years since his tragic end to his troubled life, again this romance plays straight into the mythical status of Italy’s Grand Tour. 2014’s Giro kicks off today in Ireland (as opposed to the Tdf in England?) and straight into a Team Time Trail, which is a good way to start but, we all know in Tours it’s when we get to the high mountains that the race is truly shaped. I hope we see plenty of action this year and see another legend crowned the winner. Good luck to all.
