VANDEYK VDX Cyclocross bike is another visual winner from VANDEYK. It was just a matter of time as to when they would design a cyclocross bike and make it look stunning at the same time. The thing with cross bikes is they make incredibly versatile bikes and VANDEYK envision it being used as such.
For the development of the VDX, they partnered up with up with Cyclocross authority Crema Cycles and ex-professional racer Ken Bloomer. It’s handbuilt (TIG welded) from a selection of Columbus Spirit and True Temper Platinum OX high-end steel tubing. Giving it some nice clean lines to work with and a nice ride quality. The creative approach for the graphic design work is built around the “X” as a central theme, which is translated into the VANDEYK signature ‘machine code’ on the top tube and fork legs. Options include a Cantilever or Disc brake version, both built ENVE forks and other lush parts. Head tube options are 44mm or a more classic 1 1/8″ version. As usual at VANDEYK, the paintwork is executed in highest-grade liquid paint. The VDX is available as frameset including frame and fork.
