Who said there are no more heroes?

Meet Lionel Veck. He’s 95 and has recently taken part in a 10 mile time trial with Hamphshire Road Club completing it in 42 minutes 32 seconds. An amazing effort and a a true inspiration. Nine years ago he was hit by a car and suffered injuries to his arm muscles which mean he can no longer stear a bike so a young lad called Peter Dawson (aged 79) joined him on a tandem meaning Lionel could take part in the final race of his 74 year cycling career. Brilliant.

Have a read about him in detail.
