Wiggo or Wiggo he won’t

So the news came that Sir Wiggoshire won’t be riding the Tour de France and he is gutted. Watch here. I thought at the time that he came across well in this interview. I also thought it was good PR. It seems the situation was a done deal but, the public backlash on this was very clear. Here is a rider in good shape, capable of winning and would make the team stronger, as long as both Alien Robot Head and Beardy can stay professional then Sky has some incredible odds. Whilst no one but Team Sky can really know the situation the public have put forward a strong case. So strong the Brailsford has come back with the news the team line-up for the Tour isn’t decided (seems a bit late in the year to make that choice, barring injuries). See here for that. We really want to see Sir Beardy at the Tour, he is a pleasure to watch on a bike and rides with some passion. If he isn’t in the Tour this year then I hope we see him in a team that will place him in next years Tour but, missing a UK start Tour is a little unacceptable.
