Yorkshire Festival – 100 day count down

Everybody knows the Tour de France is going to be back in the UK this year but for the first time it will be heading Yorkshire for the Grand Départ. To celebrate there will be a 100 day countdown with loads of creative events, concerts, plays and exhibitions. My favourite event being Yorkshire Beard Day! Plenty of events are unique like the Sheffield Steel Peloton where through workshops a steel bicycle will be created from locally extracted iron ore. You can follow a trail of 10 Woolly Bikes or watch a film outdoors with the Tour de Cinema. The Yorkshire Festival is for cyclists of all ages & abilities, sounds like a great way to get excited about this years Tour de France.
